What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Superintendent position at Reliable Commercial Construction?
We are preparing for a couple of large projects starting in February of 2026. Applicants looking to make a change in 2026 are invited to apply and schedule a sit down to talk about the positions. Available to meet on off-hours if needed, full confidentiality. In addition to Superintendent role we are looking for a Project Manager and assistants to both roles.
Project: Solomons Island MD – $12 Million Hotel Renovation to an a 55 apartments.
Reliable Commercial is based out the Annapolis, MD office location with project sites from the Eastern Shore to St Mary’s County. Projects include Base Buildings, Renovations, & Tenant Fit Outs.
The Superintendent will oversee and coordinate all onsite operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Review and thoroughly understand the entire project scope with the Project Team
- Create site utilization plan
- Review Submittals and RFI’s
- Maintain onsite project documentation and record keeping
- Maintain Project Schedule and inform the team of deadlines & changes
- Create and maintain three week look ahead schedules to distribute to subcontractors and PM team.
- Lead regular subcontractor meetings onsite.
- OSHA 30 - Maintain safety standards on the jobsite.
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities)
- Experienced in understanding and managing project quality, schedule, RFI’s, and Submittals.
- Knowledge with construction software is preferred.
