Duties
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and general ledger accounting to ensure precise financial reporting.
- Support tax compliance efforts by preparing tax returns and analyzing tax data
- Conduct account reconciliation and analysis to verify accuracy of debits & credits within various accounts, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Utilize accounting software like QuickBooks, to record transactions accurately and perform bookkeeping tasks including double entry bookkeeping.
- Contribute to financial analysis activities such as budgeting, asset management, investment evaluation, and financial report writing for management review.
- Support payroll processing and non-profit accounting initiatives while ensuring adherence to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience or internship in accounting or tax-related roles with familiarity in financial concepts such as GAAP, tax accounting, mergers & acquisitions, or securities law.
- Strong understanding of technical accounting principles including balance sheet reconciliation, account analysis, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, or similar tools; experience with financial software is highly desirable.
- Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret financial reports and perform detailed account reconciliation.
- Ability to work effectively within a team while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $30,000.00 - $61,767.37 per year
