What are the responsibilities and job description for the Logistician - Junior position at Reliability & Performance Technologies ( R&P )?
R&P is looking for a motivated, juinior logistician who wants to join our team. We are a small-sized defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients. We need a logistics analyst ready to join a fast-paced and exciting work environment.
Serve as the primary logistics consultant in support of Flight IIA and Flight III planning and advise the PMS 400D1 ILS Branch Head on emerging support trends and logistics deficiencies. Develop and implement logistics support strategies for newly constructed ships, including maintenance planning, provisioning, and sustainment to meet U.S Navy requirements. Manage technical documentation, logistics support packages, and configuration management while identifying areas for process improvement to enhance ship construction logistics efficiency. Prepare detailed reports, including cost analysis, inventory status, and logistics performance metrics.

- Provide weekly status reports
- Track logistics elements utilizing various tools such as spreadsheets and databases
- Facilitate and participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Product Support Management Teams (PSMTs), advisory boards, conferences, Quarterly Ship Program Reviews (SPRs), off-site meetings, working groups, audit teams, etc
- Bachelors Degree preferred
- High scool diploma and a minimum of 3 years professional experience performing logistics or product support work
- Secret clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Preferred Integrated Logistics Support and/or Product Support experience in acquisitions with New Construction Ships. Additional skills in buget devlopment for major ACAT I programs.
