Position Summary:
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all onboarding activities, including new hire paperwork, I-9 processing, system setup, and orientation logistics.
- Ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for all new hires through New Employee Orientation
- Maintain accurate employee information and documents within the HRIS.
- Assist with preparing HR reports, audits, and data requests.
- Support annual HR processes such as open enrollment, performance management cycles, and compliance trainings.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
- Assist with HR policy updates and procedure documentation.
- Provide general support to employees regarding benefit enrollment dates, access instructions, and vendor contacts.
- Coordinate with external benefit partners on data entry, invoices, and other tasks.
- Coordinate training sessions and track completion.
- Assist with employee engagement and culture-related initiatives.
- Maintain digital HR files and support document retention efforts.
- Support HR projects and process improvements as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- 3 - 5 years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist or multi-function HR role.
- Strong understanding of employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, state-specific regulations).
- MUST have experience with Paycom.
- MUST be able to be onsite in Windsor Mill, MD on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Experience supporting multi-state or remote workforces.
- Prior experience in government contracting preferred
- HR certification is a plus.

The annual salary range for this position is $60,000 to $80,000. Actual compensation will depend on a range of factors, including but not limited to the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, certifications, location, other business and organizational needs, and applicable employment laws. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
