JOB PURPOSE
The Business Development / Field Marketing Representative/Account Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining referral relationships within the community to drive patient growth and market expansion. This role focuses on cultivating strong partnerships with attorney offices, medical providers, and other referral sources to increase awareness of the company’s services and generate qualified patient referrals.
This is a field-based position requiring regular travel within the assigned territory.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Develop and execute territory-based business development plans to increase referral volume
- Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with attorney offices, medical clinics, and other community referral partners
- Conduct routine in-person visits to referral sources within the assigned market
- Identify and pursue new referral opportunities through networking, outreach, and community engagement
- Educate referral partners on company services, specialties, and patient care offerings
- Track referral activity and maintain accurate records in CRM or reporting systems
- Collaborate with clinic leadership and operations teams to ensure a seamless patient intake and referral experience
- Represent the organization at networking events, industry functions, and community activities
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities
- Meet or exceed established referral and patient growth targets

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in healthcare marketing, physician liaison, or business development, sales required
- Experience working with attorneys or legal referral networks strongly preferred
- Strong relationship-building and networking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a field-based role
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Strong comprehension of HIPAA.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficiency in using office productivity software such as Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, etc.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address issues and make informed judgements.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills with internal and external partners.
