Warehouse/Forklift

Wright Printing Co. dba Relevant Packaging is seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator to handle the incoming and outgoing flow of goods while upholding the company's exceptional customer service and quality standards, ensuring efficient workflow and timely delivery and distribution of products and materials.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Load outgoing materials onto trailers and trucks, ensuring proper labeling, paperwork, and securing of product with an emphasis on safety and accuracy.
• Unload trucks, verify and inspect incoming shipments.
• Identify, communicate and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
• Coordinate with company drivers and external carriers to ensure production and customer needs are met.
• Communicate shipment status and concerns with lead and/or manager.
• Ensure proper storage and organization of incoming materials and goods.
• Maintain inventory and organization of the warehouse to optimize efficiency and workflow.
• Safely operate company van or box truck for transport of goods.
• Input data accurately into computer system.
• Ensure all required documentation is completed.
• Follow all SQF and safety practices.
• Maintain good housekeeping.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.

Requirements include but are not limited to:

• Experience in a shipping and receiving role preferred.
• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Exhibits excellent attendance.
• Must possess valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Current DOT medical card or ability to pass medical certification and obtain card prior to hire.
• Must be able to operate a motor vehicle including van, truck, and box truck.
• Able to operate forklift with clamp attachment and pallet jacks, both electric and manual.
• Able to communicate effectively with management and team members.
• Able to establish and maintain positive and cooperative working relationships in a culturally diverse environment.
• Self-motivated and focused on scheduler and management supplied instructions.
• Shows a high sense of urgency for on-time completion of assigned activities.
• Able to read and understand, in English, a job ticket, packing slip, bill of lading and other related documents, both printed and on the computer system.
• Able to read a ruler, understand measurements, and do basic math accurately.
• Able to operate and navigate computer systems to document required notes.
• Must be able to perform the following physical behaviors repetitively throughout a shift: standing, walking, climbing stairs, handling, reaching horizontally and grasping firmly (up to 12 hour shifts).
• Must be able to perform the following physical behaviors frequently throughout a shift: reaching above the shoulder, reaching below the waist, pushing buttons, bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling and pushing (up to 12 hour shifts).
• Production positions require the ability to safely lift up to 50lbs, 20 feet in distance.
• Able to withstand exposure to loud noises, machinery and varying temperatures.
• Vision correctable to 20/20 (able to pass an eye test).
• Willing to work in other departments or handle unique duties as needed.
• Availability for overtime as needed.
