Our cloud-based commercial property management software is designed to specifically meet the needs of commercial property owners and property managers and make Commercial Real Estate simple and seamless for all parties.
Your Role
As a Software Engineer, you will play a key role in the agile Engineering Team; designing, developing, modifying, documenting, unit testing and deploying complex software to the highest level of quality. You could be based in Napier or work remotely from another city in New Zealand.
Your Responsibilities
- Write and maintain code according to system requirements and technical specifications ensuring it meets quality standards
- Diagnose and correct complex production issues
- Direct system testing and validation procedures
- Identify technology limitations in current application and code, proposing and implementing alternative solutions
- Design, implement and maintain top quality solutions for new features
Your Experience
- 3 years software engineering experience
- Proficiency in .NET 4.7 , C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core and SQL Server
- Experienced in Vue.js, React or similar JavaScript frameworks
- Skills to build great web applications with HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript
- Experience developing solutions for the Cloud/SaaS technical web environments - particularly, experience working with the Microsoft Azure platform
- An ability to write beautiful code that runs quickly and robustly - and initiative to debug, fix and improve existing code
- A flair for developing excellent user interface and experience
- A desire to work in a busy, fast-paced, dynamic environment with a great team
We are a Microsoft Azure shop and have woven the use of AI tooling and products into how we work and what we build. Our squads manage their own DevOps practices using Terraform to manage IaC and Azure DevOps for code deployments. In addition to our web applications, we also offer a range of mobile apps for iOS and Android that are built in a mix of Xamarin and .Net Maui. Experience with any of these technologies or areas is a bonus so make sure to call this out in your application.
