Who are we? Release Well-Being Center, a state-of-the-art spa and holistic wellness center in Westborough, MA. Our total wellness offerings include yoga, fitness, meditation, spa, wellness education and coaching. We are looking for qualified applications to join our team of mindful experts. In addition to the hourly wage, access to all our yoga, fitness and mediation classes are included in the compensation package.
Release Well-Being Center is seeking an experienced Licensed Massage Therapist to join our team. This person has at least 10 years of experience in the field of Massage Therapy as well as a leadership background. This person will be responsible for the ongoing training, coaching and development of the Massage Therapy team here at Release and also providing exceptional services to our guests as well.
Duties & Responsibilities
· Understand Release's mission and model the values of Integrity, Authenticity, Positivity, Caring, Respect and Fun.
· Perform spa offerings that embody Release’s mission and provide exceptional experiences for our guests.
· Plan and implement training and mentor plans for any new Massage hires.
· Plan and implement ongoing training for the Massage team including but not limited to proper technique, guest service/guest interactions, and other topics/policies/protocols that may be necessary.
· Share guest feedback/ratings with the team and conduct any necessary training based on that feedback.
· Train and coach the Guest Service/Wellness Concierge team on our Massage offerings so that they may speak to guests in an informed manner.
· Model and integrate systems and practices that encourage and sustain positive relationships and retention of members/participants.
· Work cohesively with management and staff across all departments to continually improve member/participant engagement and experience.
· Drive sales for both product and services.
· Anticipate, identify and ensure customer needs are being met in the best possible way.
· Maintain a menu of services that embody Release’s mission and core values.
· Provide exceptional customer service.
· Maintain a safe and clean environment.
· Maintain clean and organized treatment rooms and dispensary.
· Attend meetings, events and trainings.
· Ensure that confidentiality is maintained at all times in with member, participant, and staff information and records.
· Maintain a positive and professional relationship with all groups.
· Represent Release to members and the community in a professional and positive manner.
· Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
· High School Diploma or GED
· Licensed Massage Therapist in the State of Massachusetts
· 10 years of experience as a licensed Massage Therapist required
· Prior management/leadership experience required, in a Spa setting preferred
· Thorough knowledge and understanding of state regulations
Pay rates:
For spa services performed: Starting at $36/hour
For hourly administrative tasks (avg of 3-5 admin hours weekly): $25/hour
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $32.00 - $36.00 per hour
