Job Summary
The On Call Floater is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of their work site. Duties include daily and periodic cleaning and general maintenance of equipment. This position also provides customer service at Relay Resource’s contracting sites. This is an on-call role for Portland State University's night shift. Applicants must have reliable transportation and be available for between the hours of 8:45 pm- 4:15 am for last minute coverage.

Relay is one of the largest janitorial service providers in the greater Portland area. Our team proudly cleans shared spaces such as the award-winning Portland International Airport (PDX), Portland State University (PSU), and Portland City Hall.

- Vacuuming
- Sweeping
- Mopping
- Cart maintenance
- Restroom cleaning
- Daily restaurant cleaning
- Glass cleaning
- Furniture cleaning

Qualifications
- Must be available for the night shift with little to no notice.
- Speak and understand basic English
- The ability to pass a criminal background check
- Walk and stand for long periods of time
- Perform work that includes lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying, bending, and pulling
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and independent decision-making
