Duties
- Load and unload cargo using, manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling of all items. Assemble products.
- Follow designated routes accurately while maintaining timely delivery schedules.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients professionally, answering questions, and addressing concerns courteously.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met; report any issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs of deliveries made, loads transported, and any discrepancies encountered.
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as moving inventory, general housekeeping, or organizing stock when not on delivery routes.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds repeatedly and perform physical tasks related to moving and loading cargo.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy lifting.
