Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Supervising Clinician to lead our clinical team in delivering exceptional mental health and behavioral care. This vital role involves overseeing clinical operations, supervising licensed clinicians, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care across diverse populations. The Supervising Clinician will play a key role in fostering a collaborative environment, implementing evidence-based practices, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. Duties

  • Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to licensed clinicians, ensuring adherence to best practices and professional standards.
  • Oversee patient assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning for individuals with mental health conditions, developmental disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, and co-occurring disorders.
  • Lead individual and group therapy sessions utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
  • Manage intake processes, conduct crisis interventions, and coordinate care for patients experiencing mental health crises or substance use challenges.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of medical records, clinical notes, and treatment plans within electronic health records (EHR) systems while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, case managers, families, and community partners to support holistic patient care.
  • Facilitate staff training on topics such as trauma-informed care, crisis management, CPT coding, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), and cultural competency to enhance team capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Master’s or doctoral degree in social work, psychology, counseling or related mental health field.
  • Valid Indiana licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), psychologist or equivalent credential.
  • Proven experience working with children, adolescents, and families in clinical settings; experience with pediatrics highly preferred.
  • Experience working with icouples and families
  • Skilled in crisis management, crisis intervention strategies, and working effectively with individuals experiencing co-occurring disorders or substance use issues.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR/EHR) systems including data collection and medical records management while ensuring HIPAA compliance.
  • Excellent communication skills for client engagement and family collaboration; ability to work within multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.
