WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING AS A LEAD MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
- Assist in completing work orders from resident service requests by diagnosing issues and making repairs in accordance with established policies and safety standards.
- Oversee the "make-ready" process for vacant apartments, including conducting inspections, creating maintenance task lists, scheduling contractors, obtaining supplies, and ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Develop and maintain cleanliness and appearance standards throughout the community, ensuring all areas, including grounds and common spaces, reflect the company’s high quality.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the maintenance staff, ensuring efficient workflow.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to optimize operations.
- Conduct property inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Assist in training and developing maintenance team members to enhance their skills.
- Liaise with the Maintenance Supervisor on work priorities and inventory management.
- Participate in the rotating on-call schedule for emergency maintenance repairs
- Perform other duties as assigned.
COMPENSATION
- $30- $31.00 / hour
- plus an annual bonus
Final compensation offers will be determined following a thorough assessment of the candidate’s background and the requirements of the position.

Qualifications:
POSITION REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 years of experience in maintenance, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
- Strong technical skills in HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work.
- Affordable housing experience preferred.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in a related trade preferred.
- Schedule flexibility is required, including the ability to work weekends when necessary to meet property maintenance demands.
- Must be able to participate in the emergency on-call rotation as needed.
