Responsibilities

The Contracts Administrator for Related Companies will be responsible for supporting the legal group and various project development teams as well as interacting with various third-parties through the contract process. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Review/vet various proposals from contractors, suppliers, design professionals and consultants
  • Prepare agreements based on Related Companies’ contract templates
  • Handle the contracting process from preparation of agreement though execution
  • Interact with lenders/investors/partners to obtain necessary contract approvals
  • Gain familiarity with overall legal structure of each respective project, including understanding of underlying legal documents relating to the project
  • Prepare legal notices/correspondence

Compensation:

The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. In addition to a competitive base salary, you will be eligible to receive discretionary bonus incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.

Anticipated base salary range: $100,000

Actual base salary within the anticipated range will be determined by several components including, but not limited to, the individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and market factors.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 -7 years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience working in a corporate environment
  • Experience working in construction/architecture/engineering/consulting a plus.
  • High computer proficiency (i.e. MS Word, Excel and/or other related software programs)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written), due to heavy interaction with attorneys and high-level executives
  • Ability to work well under pressure and effectively handle multiple, concurrent demands and appropriately prioritize responsibilities
