ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Complete service requests in a timely manner and interact with residents to ensure their needs are met.
- Prepare vacant units to occupancy standards within established time frames.
- Inspect property mechanical systems and grounds, addressing safety issues immediately with management.
- Conduct advanced routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.
- Perform cleaning and upkeep of common areas and grounds.
- Train and mentor junior maintenance staff as needed.
- Inspect property and address maintenance concerns proactively.
- Assist in emergency repairs as directed by supervisors and rotate on-call for emergency maintenance.
- Maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies and report any shortages.
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
2 years of experience in general maintenance or related field.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems.
- Affordable housing experience is a plus.
- Must be able to participate in the emergency on-call rotation as needed.
- Dedicated to exceeding expectations by providing exceptional service.
- Demonstrates accountability and reliability by taking full ownership of projects and outcomes, prioritizing
solving, while continuously engaging in learning and development to enhance performance; fosters
collaboration and a resident-centered environment, ensuring empathy, respect, and cross-functional success in
all interactions.
- Willingness to embrace feedback and continuously improve.
- Strong belief in the value of teamwork and collaboration.
- Reliable and committed to doing the right thing at all times. Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
- Personal standards of appearance and dress compatible with the Company’s standards.
- Must successfully pass a background check.
