Human Resources Business Partner
What You’ll Do:
Relate Search has partnered with a manufacturing organization in its search for a bilingual Human Resources Business Partner to partner closely with leaders and employees across assigned departments. This role will provide hands-on HR support across employee relations, performance management, engagement, talent acquisition, development, retention, communication, benefits, wellness, and leave programs. The HR Business Partner will coach leaders, anticipate workforce needs, use data to identify trends, and help ensure HR programs and processes are consistently executed. This is an opportunity to support employees at all levels of the organization while helping the business scale, change, transform, and grow.
Responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships with leaders and employees, providing strategic HR guidance, coaching, and support across business needs, employee relations, performance management, engagement, and retention.
- Conduct thorough and objective investigations, coach supervisors and managers through employee relations matters, and support employment-related hearings, unemployment appeals, and outside counsel as needed.
- Analyze attrition and workforce trends, anticipate talent needs, support talent strategy planning, and partner in the full-cycle recruiting process.
- Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including leave and accommodation requirements, audits, mandatory reporting, policy reviews, and HR recordkeeping.
- Partner across HR and Safety on Workers’ Compensation and leave programs, facilitate HR training and new hire orientation, and support consistent execution of HR programs, policies, and processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, or a commensurate combination of education and relevant work experience.
- 8 years of general HR experience, or a commensurate combination of higher education and relevant work experience; prior HR Business Partner experience preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
- Strong knowledge of employee relations, employment law, benefits, Workers’ Compensation, leaves of absence, FMLA, ADA, and applicable state and local requirements.
- Proven ability to build relationships across all levels of an organization, with strong communication, training, facilitation, analytical, project management, change management, HRIS, and Microsoft Office skills; manufacturing or warehouse experience and professional HR certification preferred.
Perks & Benefits:
- Estimated annual base salary range of $89,868.19–$134,802.29, with actual compensation based on relevant factors including location, experience, qualifications, education, skillset, and market conditions.
- Eligible for a discretionary annual incentive based on company performance factors.
