Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and outdoor work as needed.
- Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure health and safety standards are met consistently.
- Manage laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and janitorial tools with care and precision.
- Handle manual tasks involving heavy lifting and moving furniture or supplies safely while adhering to proper handling techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness of all surfaces by applying appropriate cleaning detergents and disinfectants.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific needs and provide excellent customer service throughout your shift.
- Organize your time effectively to complete all assigned duties within scheduled hours while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Experience
- Prior experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping is highly preferred; familiarity with janitorial or custodial work is advantageous.
- Demonstrated knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation protocols.
- Experience using various cleaning equipment and detergents safely and efficiently.
- Strong manual handling skills with the ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Outdoor work experience is a plus for roles involving exterior maintenance or garden-related tasks.
- Proven ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members to ensure satisfaction and smooth operations.
