Functional & Aesthetic Medicine
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with experience in functional medicine, longevity, and preventative health.
This role is ideal for a clinician who is passionate about optimizing patient health through personalized, root-cause approaches, with the opportunity to also incorporate aesthetic treatments.
Functional medicine experience is required. Aesthetic medicine experience is preferred but not required.
The provider will focus primarily on functional and longevity-based care, including hormone optimization, peptides, IV therapies, and metabolic health, while also supporting aesthetic services as applicable.
Functional & Longevity Medicine (Primary Focus)
Provide treatments focused on preventative health, optimization, and root-cause medicine, including:
- IV therapies and wellness injections
- NAD therapy
- Peptide therapies
- Hormone optimization
- Weight loss support including GLP-1 medications (Semaglutide and Tirzepatide)
- Ozone therapy
- Regenerative therapies including stem cells and exosomes
- Review labs and develop personalized treatment protocols
Aesthetic Medicine (Preferred, Not Required)
Perform aesthetic procedures including:
- Neuromodulators (Botox and Dysport)
- Dermal fillers
- Microneedling treatments
- PRP and regenerative aesthetic treatments
- Aesthetic consultations and customized treatment planning
(Candidates without aesthetic experience will still be considered if they have strong functional medicine backgrounds. Training may be provided.)
Patient Care and Clinical Management
- Conduct comprehensive patient consultations and assessments
- Review laboratory results and develop personalized treatment protocols
- Educate patients on treatment options and preventative health strategies
- Maintain accurate and compliant medical documentation
- Monitor patient progress and manage follow-up care
Clinic Operations
- Maintain strict adherence to safety and clinical standards
- Collaborate with clinic leadership on treatment protocols and services
- Support patient retention through exceptional patient experience
- Participate in clinic events, patient education, and practice growth initiatives
Qualifications
- Active California NP or PA license
- Required: Experience in functional medicine, integrative medicine, or longevity-based care
- Experience with IV therapy, peptides, hormone therapy, and lab interpretation
- Aesthetic experience (Botox, fillers, etc.) preferred but not required
- Strong consultation skills and patient communication
- Detail-oriented with strong clinical judgment
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinic environment
Preferred Experience
- 1–3 years in functional medicine, wellness, or integrative clinics
- Experience with GLP-1 weight loss therapies
- Experience with hormone optimization and advanced lab interpretation
- Exposure to aesthetic treatments is a plus
- Strong interest in longevity medicine and preventative health
