Boutique luxury design firm in Laguna Beach seeks a full-time Interior Design Operations Manager to keep projects running smoothly from concept to install.
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-touch environment—equal parts organized, detail-obsessed, and client-savvy. This is not an entry-level design role—it’s ideal for a design professional who also loves systems, logistics, and making things happen behind the scenes.
What You’ll Do:
- Create and manage proposals, POs, and invoices (Studio Designer or similar)
- Handle procurement, vendor communication, and order tracking
- Manage project timelines and installation schedules
- Maintain client communication with polished professionalism
- Support the principal designer with both creative and operational tasks
What You Bring:
- 3 years in a design or operations role (interior design industry preferred)
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Highly organized, resourceful, and detail-oriented
- Studio Designer experience (or Ivy, etc.)
- Knowledge of luxury design standards and clientele
- Live within 30 minutes of Laguna Beach (required)
Bonus Points If You:
- Know your way around AutoCAD or similar
- Have experience with FF&E procurement and custom furnishings
- Can juggle multiple projects without letting any detail slip
Compensation:
Competitive, based on experience.
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
