What are the responsibilities and job description for the GEOINT Analyst position at Reithorp Solutions LLC?
GEOINT Analyst:
- Perform GEOINT analysis supporting NGA's Office of Eurasia
- Exploit a variety of imagery (e.g., EO, SAR) using tools like RemoteView and Ispy to identify signatures and develop reports
- These offices have a focus on Analytic Workforce Modernization (AWM) and are looking for tech-enabled analysts that bring innovative ideas and solutions to important national security issues
- Identify military installations and military infrastructure and/or military order-of-battle analysis
- Research and review imagery libraries to verify suitable coverage to satisfy national and theater collection or exploitation requirements
- Fuse multi-discipline intelligence sources to provide accurate and timely geospatial analysis
- Coordinate with DoD, IC, and foreign partners of issues of common concern
Requirements:
- Active TS/SCI
- Master of Science degree in a quantitative discipline such as geography, geographic information systems (GIS), geospatial analysis, remote sensing, geodesy, geophysics, earth science, cartography, or a related field; OR Bachelor of Science degree in a quantitative field of study with at least 7 years of experience with applied advanced GIS; OR combination of education and years of experience equivalent to a GEOINT Analyst with proficiency of applied advanced GIS at the senior skill level
- Minimum five years as a Geospatail Analyst
- GEOINT Professional Certification (GPC)-Fundamentals and GPC-IA Level II Certification
- Proficiency and speed using ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online tool suite to produce GIS projects
- Experience conducting spatiotemporal geospatial analysis using disparate vector and raster datasets to produce high-value intelligence and intelligence products
- Experience leveraging disparate datasets, in conjunction with imagery, to conduct spatiotemporal multi-INT geospatial analysis
- Experience with best practices of GIS workflow optimization, webservice utilization, geospatial data standards, and templating for efficient and rapidly repeatable map product generation, updates, and interoperability with partner offices
- Strong knowledge of key visualization subject areas including geographic design, data visualization, cartography, statistics, layout, visual hierarchy, topography, color, and composition
- Knowledge of Python and RemoteView
- Experience building maps for visualization
