Overview
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Summer Program/After School Staff. In this role, you will work closely with students to create a positive and engaging environment.
Our Summer program consists of weekly field trips, art and craft activities, and implementing summer calendar along with creating lesson planned activities with co-teachers.
You will support educational activities, assist in classroom management, and contribute to the overall development of students. Ideal candidates will have experience in childcare or education settings and a passion for helping children succeed.
Responsibilities
- Provide support and working along side co-teachers in managing classroom behavior and maintaining a positive structured atmosphere.
- Engage with students during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Offer tutoring assistance to students who may need additional help with their studies.
- Foster a nurturing environment that encourages social, emotional, and academic growth.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure effective communication and teamwork.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
- Assist in serving morning and afternoon snacks and lunch daily.
Qualifications
- Experience working with students in an educational or childcare setting is preferred.
- Background in early childhood education with a minimum of 12 ECE Units
- Clean driving record (driving company vehicles is required).
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to provide structured activities effectively.
- Knowledge of first aid practices is beneficial.
- Ability to engage with children through various activities such as games, arts, and crafts.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit are essential.
- A genuine passion for working with children and contributing to their development.
