Auto Service Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Manager to oversee our automotive service department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing service operations, ensuring high-quality repairs and customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong background in automotive service and repair, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the service department, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity.
• Supervise service technicians, providing guidance on best practices in automotive repair.
• Oversee customer interactions, addressing concerns and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of service activities and invoicing, including auto estimating.
• Coordinate with mechanics to ensure timely completion of repairs and services.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the service area.
• Monitor inventory levels for parts and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
• Assist with complex repairs as needed, including tire services.

Requirements

• Proven experience in automotive service management or a similar role.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in auto body repair, tire service.
• Familiarity with auto parts and auto estimating processes.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team of service technicians.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
• Certification or training in automotive technology is preferred but not required.
