Under direct supervision, assists with software support, maintenance, testing, documentation and development of new or existing applications. Has conceptional knowledge of software development technologies and processes; is in the process of developing those capabilities to better execute responsibilities.

Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Computer Science or equivalent experience
Work Experience
$55,850.00 - $79,800.00 Annual
Base pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and market location. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan. Principle Duties
- Code standard enhancements and update existing functionality.
- Test and debug applications to ensure quality, under general supervision
- Gather and analyze requirements to support user needs
- Assists in problem analysis and submits recommendations when appropriate.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Computer Science or equivalent experience
Work Experience
- Training/exposure to modern language required
- Training/exposure to relational/NoSQL database required
- Demonstrates ability to quickly learn new technologies required
- Ability to solve standard problem, using education, independent thought, and judgement required
- Effective communication skills, including ability to exchange normal information, while confirming answers to questions required
- JavaScript/Java/Groovy/Go/C#/.Net/Python preferred
- Docker/Kubernetes preferred
- NodeJS preferred
- relational/NoSQL database preferred
- Terraform/Ansible preferred
- Shell preferred
