The Parking Garage Porter is an hourly, hands-on role responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of multiple parking facilities. This position plays a critical role in creating a positive first impression for guests by ensuring the garage is clean, well-organized, and free of hazards. The Porter works closely with the Operations team to support daily site needs and uphold company standards.

The Porter works closely with the Operations team to support daily site needs and uphold company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain all areas of multiple parking facility, including drive lanes, stairwells, elevators, offices, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, pressure wash, and remove debris to ensure a clean and safe environment
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners throughout the facility
- Remove oil spills, stains, and other hazards promptly
- Maintain exterior areas, including entrances, sidewalks, and surrounding property
- Pick up litter and ensure the facility perimeter is clean and presentable
- Assist with light landscaping or seasonal upkeep as needed
- Identify and report safety hazards, damages, or maintenance issues to management
- Ensure all areas are free of obstructions and potential risks to guests and employees
- Follow company safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Assist with setting up signage, cones, and barricades as needed
- Support basic non-technical maintenance tasks (e.g., bulb replacement, minor repairs)
- Help prepare the facility for peak periods, events, or inspections
- Provide friendly, professional assistance to customers when needed
- Help direct guests and answer basic questions about the facility
- Escalate customer concerns or issues to management promptly
- Prior experience in janitorial, porter, or general labor roles preferred
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Basic communication skills and a customer-friendly attitude
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Must successfully pass a background check, in accordance with company policy and applicable laws
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to provide documentation verifying eligibility, as required by the Department of Homeland Security. Reimagined Parking participates in the E‑Verify program to confirm employment eligibility.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull equipment and materials up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work outdoors for extended periods
- Primarily outdoor and garage environment; exposure to weather, fumes, and noise
- May require weekends, evenings, and holidays based on business needs
