The Courier ensures items get to the designated drop point quickly and in good condition, while delivering a service that exceeds our customer/client’s expectations. The Courier is responsible for responding quickly to customers’ requests and providing caring interactions with all guests at their assigned location. The Courier works closely with fellow team members, Operations Manager, and/or Shift Supervisor to ensure that quality and safety standards are met at all times as well as adhering to state and local laws.

- Efficiently manage the pick-up and delivery of items within designated client locations, ensuring a high standard of service and client care.
- Maintain and service daily transportation routes to ensure satisfactory performance.
- Monitor assigned routes and optimize the efficiency of service requests.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of all delivery routes.
- Ensure timely and accurate pick-up and delivery of items.
- Address and resolve transportation-related issues promptly and professionally.
- Maintain the care and functionality of equipment and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with all licensure and documentation requirements.
- Provide exceptional customer service, assisting both internal and external clients, and directing them to appropriate resources when necessary.
- Interact professionally with clients, visitors, and colleagues, maintaining a courteous and service-oriented demeanor.
- Communicate effectively, utilizing positive body language and tone in all interactions.
- Foster constructive relationships with coworkers and location staff.
- Address concerns and suggestions in a professional manner, focusing on solutions and improvements.
- Demonstrate self-initiative and the ability to work independently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Uphold confidentiality of patient and employee information, adhering to professional ethics and regulatory standards.
- Comply with all organizational policies and procedures.
- Attend mandatory training and participate in educational programs to enhance professional skills and safety knowledge.
Skill, Knowledge, and Expertise:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and guests.
- Occasionally deliver supplies weighing up to 20 lbs. with occasional heavier loads as needed.
- Capable of entering and exiting a vehicle frequently and sitting for extended periods.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods while performing deliveries.
