Job Summary: The COFFEE PROCESS OPERATOR is responsible for safely operating coffee equipment in the processing area ensuring that quality products are produced timely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Operates processing equipment efficiently according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), and food/employee safety requirements and guidelines
- Starts up and shuts down sequencing of processing equipment
- Learns and maintains standards for product specifications, blends and recipes
- Performs preventative maintenance and minor equipment adjustments on Processing equipment
- Utilizes Digital Production System (Redzone) to track downtime and perform quality compliance
- Accurately completes all quality, product batch data, traceability, and production paperwork
- Reports any product deficiencies, food or safety concerns to supervisor
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment and assists with product change overs
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED; AA Degree in Process Technology helpful
- 2 years of machine operator/production experience preferred
- Technical skills include the ability to operate processing equipment, start up/shut down sequencing, basic preventative maintenance and basic HMI computer skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to follow rules and directions
- Positive attitude, team player and self-leadership
