Role Description
This is a task base/party-time, virtual role for a Human Resources Specialist. The center (Children of tge Rising Sun) is based in Detroit, MI. The Human Resources Specialist tasks include developing and enforcing HR policies, managing employee benefits, and maintaining employee handbook. The role requires collaboating with the Executive Director with constructing and maintaining the employee policies and procedures and employee hand book. Additionally, the specialist will collaborate with various departments to support organizational goals and enhance workplace culture.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management practices
- Proficiency in developing and implementing HR Policies
- Understanding of Employee Benefits administration and related processes in the childcare field
- Experience in Personnel Management and employee engagement
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site/off-site team environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- Knowledge of labor laws and regulatory compliance in Lara childcare field
