Adjunct - Psychology/Sociology Instructor

Position Summary

The Adjunct Psychology/Sociology Instructor provides quality classroom instruction, maintains required scholastic records, and seeks continuous improvement of the curriculum, instruction, and use of resources. This position reports to the Academic Division Chair and the Dean of Instruction.
SALARY: Adjunct instructors are paid a flat rate per credit hour based on Reid State Technical College's Salary Schedule L. Classes must meet the minimum enrollment requirements. Classes that do not meet minimum enrollment requirements may be compensated on a pro rata basis or cancelled at the discretion of the college. Selected classes may be compensated on an hourly basis based on contact hours rather than credit hours.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Psychology/Sociology from a regionally accredited institution, or a Master's degree with a minimum of eighteen (18) graduate semester hours in psychology, sociology, or a related field.
Effective oral and written communication skills are required.
Teaching experience is preferred.
