Responsibilities
- Prepare delicious, gourmet food
- Demonstrate positive attitude, initiative, and enthusiasm
- Inspect and clean food preparation areas, such as equipment and work surfaces or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices
- You have an eye for detail and you’re comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Prepare food from scratch by following our recipes to produce consistent results
- Cook a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and other kitchen equipment
- Ensure food is stored and cooked at correct temperature by regulating the temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters
- Exhibit teamwork and effective communication
- Cross train and work in multiple kitchen stations, prep, garnish, grill
- Respond to guest feedback with appropriate urgency and professionalism
- 1 year of high volume restaurant experience.
- Excellent communication skills, can stand for long periods of time, and are able to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards. Work clean.
- Perform calmly and effectively in a high-volume environment
- Availability to work weekends and some holidays
- Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant
