About The Position
The FNS Team member performs a variety of duties. They include: accurate and attractive tray assembly, tray delivery to patients, operation of the dish machine, sanitation of work area, dishes, and equipment, preparation of food items for patient room service and cafeteria, cafeteria sales and operation of cash registers. The FNS Team Member demonstrates Courtesy, positive Attitude, Respect, and Enthusiasm to patients, visitors, and co-workers.

Overview Of Responsibilities
- Must be accurate and consistent in the delivery of supplies to the floors and the delivery of nourishments to patients.
- FNS employees must perform lifting, reaching, and other various repetitive tasks as part of their job duties. Employees are to utilize and implement the safety measures and policies taken to eliminate ergonomic stresses in each area.
- Area of assignment will depend on the employee’s ability to meet the following requirements. Part-time relief employees must be able to perform in at least four areas, so they are flexible to meet the needs of the department.
- Room Service: Must be quick and efficient. Must have good communication skills.
- Expediter: Must be quick and efficient. Must have good communication skills. Must be able to properly read a room service tray ticket and accurately build the patient's trays with those items listed on the ticket. Must be able to lift trays and push carts and have excellent people skills.
- Tray Passing: Excellent people skills. Must be able to lift trays and push carts.
- Dish Room: No chemical allergies. No lifting restrictions.
- Sanitation/Pot Room: No chemical allergies. No lifting restrictions.
- Cafeteria/Espresso Bar: Excellent front-line skills. Basic mathematic skills. Must be able to push carts and lift pans of food to replenish hot and cold food bars. Must be able to monitor and maintain food quality at all times.
- Storeroom/Stocking: No lifting restrictions. No chemical allergies.
- Head Start: No lifting restrictions. Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a good driving record according to hospital policy.
- Catering: No lifting restrictions. Excellent people skills.
- All of the above positions should have no allergies to non-latex gloves.
