Schedule: Day Shift. Part Time. Monday and Thursday 8am-8:30pm. Call required.
About The Position
The Registered Nurse is assigned clinical and/or managerial responsibilities based on educational preparation, licensing laws and regulations, competency and patient needs. “Patient needs” based assignments are made in accordance with the complexity and dynamics of the condition of each patient, age of patient, cultural, spiritual and religious practices, emotional needs/barriers, desire and motivation, physical and/or cognitive limitations, language barriers and the complexity of the assessment required by the patient. This includes the type of technology employed in providing care and factors that must be considered to make appropriate decisions regarding the provision of care.

- Demonstrate management of IV therapy
- Demonstrates ability to monitor & manage blood glucose
- Demonstrates ability to manage emergent patient conditions
- Demonstrates management of blood and blood products
- Demonstrates management of urinary care
- Demonstrates ability to manage chest tubes
- Demonstrates management of ostomies
- Demonstrates ability to manage Tracheostomies
- Demonstrates management of NG Tubes
- Demonstrate management of Central Venous Lines
- Demonstrates ability to manage Wound Dressings
- Demonstrates ability to document in appropriate records
Education & Experience
- Minimum education required: Associates, Bachelor's, or Masters Degree in Nursing
- Minimum licensure required: Licensure in State of Indiana as a Registered Nurse
