Job Overview:
The Agronomy and Technology Coordinator supports crop production by coordinating agronomy, technology, purchasing, compliance, and data management. This role ensures efficient operations, accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and effective communication across field teams, management, vendors, consultants, and government agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assists management in completing time-sensitive and detail-oriented tasks. Accuracy, organization, confidentiality, and the ability to work collaboratively with employees, vendors, landowners, and government agencies are critical to success in this role.
- Lead and support crop production technology systems, software, and precision agriculture tools while maintaining accurate operational data and reporting.
- Coordinate agronomy programs, including soil sampling, crop records, precision mapping, inventory management, and agronomic data analysis.
- Manage purchasing, inventory, vendor relationships, purchase orders, and work orders to support efficient operations.
- Oversee compliance and documentation for government programs, crop insurance, and regulatory reporting.
- Coordinate operational systems, equipment maintenance records, workforce documentation, seasonal onboarding, and employee training records.
- Provide backup support for crop accounting and commodity purchasing during peak seasons and other critical business periods.
- Partner with management, field staff, agronomists, consultants, vendors, and government agencies to improve processes and support successful crop production.

Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Business, Technology, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel), Gmail, Laserfiche, and Project Manager.
- Ability to quickly learn and administer specialized agricultural software systems.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to organize, interpret, and communicate operational data.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments.
