About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our property. This role is ideal for someone who understands building systems, can respond calmly in urgent situations, and enjoys coordinating vendors and small projects while keeping the site running smoothly.
The Site Manager will serve as the primary on-site point of contact for building operations, maintenance coordination, and minor capital improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily building operations to ensure the site is safe, functional, and well-maintained
- Respond to emergencies and understand shut-off valves, electrical panels, and basic building systems
- Coordinate, supervise, and meet with vendors, contractors, and service providers
- Manage and track work orders, maintenance requests, and repairs from start to completion
- Perform basic troubleshooting and light hands-on tasks when appropriate
- Assist with and manage small capital projects (repairs, upgrades, improvements), including scheduling and oversight
- Conduct regular site walks and inspections to identify issues proactively
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, vendor activity, and site conditions
- Support overall operational efficiency and tenant satisfaction
Physical & Operational Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 40 lbs when necessary
- Comfortable working on-site, including walking the property and accessing mechanical areas
- Ability to respond to after-hours or emergency situations as needed
Qualifications
- Experience in building operations, facilities management, property management, or a related field
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, reliable, and service-oriented mindset
- Basic computer skills for work order systems, email, and reporting
Preferred
- Prior experience managing vendors or small construction / capital projects
- Familiarity with work order or facilities management software
- OSHA or safety training (a plus, not required)
SALARY RANGE: $70,000 - $85,000 per year.
