Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations, assessments, and diagnoses using dental terminology and medical records.
- Deliver a wide range of general dentistry services including dental restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and endodontics.
- Utilize dental imaging and medical imaging tools to assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Conduct patient care activities such as patient education, treatment planning, and follow-up care.
- Document all procedures accurately within electronic health records using systems .
- Stay updated on current best practices in dental terminology, medical terminology, infection control, and medical documentation.
Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited institution with valid licensure to practice dentistry.
- Proven experience in general dentistry
- Strong knowledge of medical records management and HIPAA compliance standards.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively.
- Experience with dental fabrication techniques and medical imaging technology is advantageous.
- Knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques essential for safe practice.
