Duties
- Engage with prospective customers through outbound calls, cold calling, and in-person interactions to generate new leads and expand the sales pipeline
- Conduct high-end automobile sales by understanding customer needs and presenting suitable vehicle options
- Negotiate deals effectively, ensuring mutual satisfaction while meeting dealership sales targets
- Upsell additional products such as warranties, service packages, and accessories to maximize revenue
- Manage inventory control and assist with inventory management to ensure accurate product availability information
- Utilize CRM software to track customer interactions, follow up on leads, and maintain detailed records of sales activities
- Support marketing initiatives by promoting dealership events and special offers to attract new clients
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales process, including post-sale follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain professional phone etiquette and communication skills when interacting with clients via phone or in person
- Collaborate with the sales management team to develop strategies for increasing sales effectiveness and efficiency
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and new vehicle features to provide expert advice to customers
Experience
- Proven experience in automobile sales or retail sales environments is preferred; dealership experience is highly valued
- Demonstrated success in outside sales or B2B sales roles with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with the ability to upsell products effectively
- Experience using CRM software for managing customer relationships and sales pipelines
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple clients simultaneously
- Multilingual abilities or bilingual proficiency are considered advantageous for serving diverse customer bases
- Strong communication skills, including public speaking and phone etiquette, are essential for engaging clients confidently
- Familiarity with inventory management, retail math, and basic automotive knowledge will enhance performance in this role
