Rehlko is searching for a Quality Engineer to drive excellence in our manufacturing and engineering processes. This role is pivotal in ensuring product reliability, enhancing customer satisfaction, and proactively identifying opportunities for improvement. As a Quality Engineer, you will be the bridge between customer feedback and continuous improvement efforts—championing quality awareness and problem resolution to uphold Rehlko’s industry-leading standards.
Specific Responsibilities
- Monitor field quality by analyzing customer complaints and warranty claims to identify systemic issues and initiate improvement projects.
- Customer service and complaint management, maintaining clear and timely communication with customers on complaints, resolution status, and outcomes. Facilitate complaint board reviews and assign resolution responsibilities.
- Create quality awareness by maintaining dashboards and KPIs for customer satisfaction and complaint management. Escalate issues appropriately and ensure leadership remains informed.
- Lead problem-solving efforts by forming and facilitating resolution teams, using 8D methodology to determine root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions. Drive timely closures to achieve business targets for resolution speed and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor customer satisfaction by developing scorecards for key customers and driving continuous improvement efforts to enhance customer experience.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, mechanical, or electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
- Experience: 1–2 years in a technical environment with demonstrated results. SAP experience is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Power BI experience or the ability to learn.
- Key Competencies:
- Strong sense of urgency and initiative.
- Analytical and problem-solving expertise.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with quality engineering principles or the ability to learn quickly.
- Ability to work independently with strong organizational and planning skills.
