Coordinate with Warehouse Operations, Scheduling, Purchasing, and
in-house component fabrication teams to ensure inventory levels and
production movement are aligned. Ensure individual SLOC inventory is
maintain and production WIP is processed timely and accurately.
Coordinate and improve the flow of materials between production and
warehouse operations. Build and maintain strong manufacturing
relationships to achieve continuous improvements in delivery, quality
and inventory accuracy. Advanced knowledge of ERP and MRP functionality
and how to utilize the information to improve systems. Advanced
knowledge of both component and assembly processes and a complete
understanding of numerous systems set points (master data), their
control on inventory and the management of them. Strong analytical
skills capable of analyzing problems, proposing solutions and
implementation. Specific responsibilities: \* Maintain inventory
accuracy for assigned SLOC by monitoring daily activity of inventory
moves. \* Daily maintenance of any backflush errors for assigned SLOC to
address errors in a timely manner. \* Monitor schedule and production
orders to check alignment with assembly build forecast and actual
production build results to minimize accumulation of excess inventory.
\* Report short and excess inventory risk to Warehouse Operations,
Scheduling, Purchasing and in-house fabrication teams as necessary to
improve production output. \* Assist team to meet end customer
expectations of on time and fill rate metrics \* Proactively anticipate,
identify, communicate, and help resolve problems that will impact the
schedule, delivery performance & inventory accuracy \* Build trust by
working in partnership with manufacturing and supply chain functions to
ensure accurate resolution of inventory inaccuracies. \* Focus on the
end customer by improving business and supply chain processes \*
Participate in annual physical inventory \* Participate in safety
training and accident prevention \* All other duties as assigned by
manager Skills/Requirements: \* Bachelor\'s degree in Supply
Chain/Materials/Logistics Management OR equivalent work experience \*
Experience in the use of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and
Material Requirements Planning (MRP), SAP preferred \* Demonstrated
