Vendor Relations Specialist

Rehabmart is seeking a full-time Vendor Relations Account Specialist who can manage the growing needs for both new and existing vendor partners for our E-Commerce company. This role focuses on evaluating new and existing vendor logistical and performance capabilities, defining financial partnership viability through a variety negotiation tactics, establishes foundational vendor monitoring and tracking processes, and serves as a vendor performance liaison using a variety of vendor management strategies. The position supports the C-level Vendor Relations Executive Director & Vendor Relations Department through assistance in the daily operational needs & providing strategic thinking to execute a successful vendor relations program. Vendor Relations Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for assisting in the development, managing and maintaining relationships with over 600 Vendors within the Rehabmart network.
• Ensure ongoing dialogue and communication with the vendors through regular meetings, emails, telephone calls and formal vendor communications and notifications
• Coordinate with Vendor Relations team and organization management to drive contractual agreements through negotiation to final execution of new vendor onboarding
• Assist in the negotiation of pricing, terms and conditions with vendors, work with cross functional areas of the organization to ensure contracts and agreements meet Rehabmart policies, margins and standards.
• Assist in annual vendor reviews, comparison and selection, and identify if existing services are being duplicated
• Analyzes market trends in medical devices and other vendor supply categories
• Manage data integrity within our systems as it relates to vendor performance & overall visibility into vendor performance trends

Vendor Relations Qualifications/Skills:

• Ability to manage multiple Vendor relationships simultaneously for same or different product categories.
• Experience in related global and local vendor relations support and project management
• Self-starter, customer focused with the ability to work independently
• Ability to perform several tasks simultaneously in a dynamic environment in order to meet company goals is essential
• Strong networking capabilities both inside and outside the organization
• Demonstrate relationship building and negotiation skills, with an ability to make things happen through the use of best business practices & positive influence
• Experience in data analysis tools, industry data sources, Microsoft Office tools & Google Workspace is a plus
• Must have the ability to create reports, trackers, governance reports on notice, and monitor/report on vendor margin compliance

Education and Experience:

• An Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is an asset.
• Previous experience or degree in Project Management, Business Management, Finance, Sales & Performance, or Purchasing is preferred.

Hourly compensation is negotiable and is dependent upon experience, education, and skill sets.
