About the Role
The Rehabilitation Center of Winter Park is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Risk Manager to join our leadership team. In this vital role, you will oversee the facility’s risk management program, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and excellence in care.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the facility’s risk management program in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Develop, implement, and maintain risk management policies and procedures.
Identify, monitor, and evaluate potential risks, incidents, and safety concerns.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and leadership to promote best practices in safety and compliance.
Provide ongoing training and education to staff on risk management and safety protocols.
Maintain accurate documentation and prepare reports related to risk management activities.
Qualifications
RN license preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a hospital or skilled nursing facility.
Must possess a current, unencumbered Health Care Risk Manager (HCRM) license or meet the licensure requirements of the State of Florida.
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Health Administration preferred.
Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered (e.g., administrative experience in risk management or relevant state certifications).
