Shift: Full-Time | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary:
LPN: $75,000 – $78,000/year
RN: $80,000 – $90,000/year
Position Summary:
The Rehabilitation Center of Winter Park is seeking a compassionate, driven, and experienced Unit Manager (LPN or RN) to lead our dedicated nursing team. In this full-time leadership role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing unit operations, managing staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily staffing needs to ensure adequate coverage and exceptional resident care
Supervise Clinical Nurses and Nurse Assistants, supporting their growth and performance
Provide hands-on resident care in accordance with individualized care plans
Conduct comprehensive assessments and maintain accurate medical records
Collaborate in the development and implementation of resident treatment plans
Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of nursing staff
Coordinate staff schedules and ensure compliance with state and facility documentation standards
Serve as a liaison for residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members to resolve concerns
Complete required Preceptor Training and lead by example
Champion innovation and quality improvement initiatives within the unit
Foster a positive and collaborative team culture
Qualifications:
Active, unencumbered LPN or RN license in the state of Florida
Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience (preferably in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting)
At least 1 year of nursing leadership or management experience
Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
Passionate about delivering high-quality resident care and mentoring clinical staff
