Salary: $65,000 - $70,000 per year (based on experience)

Rehabilitation Center of Orlando is seeking an experienced, dependable, and hands-on Maintenance Director to lead our facility's maintenance operations. In this key leadership role, you will oversee all aspects of building maintenance, preventative maintenance programs, regulatory compliance, and environmental safety to ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily maintenance operations throughout the facility.

• Supervise, train, and schedule maintenance staff.

• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs.

• Conduct routine inspections of the building, grounds, and equipment to ensure safety and proper functionality.

• Coordinate repairs and maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems, and facility equipment.

• Ensure compliance with all local, state, federal, OSHA, Life Safety Code, and CMS regulations.

• Maintain maintenance records, repair logs, equipment warranties, and inspection documentation.

• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance issues and after-hours situations as needed.

• Manage vendor relationships and oversee outside contractors.

• Assist with capital improvement projects, renovations, and facility upgrades.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and attractive environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Director or Maintenance Manager in a skilled nursing facility or healthcare setting.

• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems, and general building maintenance.

• Thorough understanding of OSHA regulations, Life Safety Code, and CMS compliance requirements.

• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and respond effectively to emergencies.

• Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.
