Role Description
This is a PRN Occupational Therapist role will help support the King of Prussia, PA location covering Bucks County. The Occupational Therapist will design and implement customized rehabilitation plans to address patients’ unique needs, focusing on improving daily living and functional skills. This role involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, evaluating patient progress, and providing quality care to optimize recovery in home or community-based settings. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate documentation and offering guidance and support to patients and their families throughout the rehabilitation process.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Occupational Therapy techniques, including assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions
- Experience in Rehabilitation and a strong understanding of medical conditions, particularly in neurorehabilitation and acute care
- Excellent Communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Knowledge or experience working in Pediatrics and addressing the unique needs of younger patients is a plus
- Proven organizational and time-management skills for delivering care in hybrid environments
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Pennsylvania
- CPR certification and ability to meet physical requirements for patient care
- Familiarity with using technology for documentation and remote healthcare services
