The Associate Sales Representative (ASR) supports the General Manager in driving sales, maintaining existing business, and providing unparalleled patient care and support. This entry-level medical sales role serves as a developmental pathway designed to give individuals the hands-on experience and training needed to advance into a full Territory Manager position within 12 to 24 months.
Description of Role
- Equipment Logistics: Deliver and pick up medical equipment (DME) at patient homes and clinical medical facilities.
- Patient & Provider Education: Conduct clinical "in-service" training on the proper use of medical devices for patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
- Maintenance: Perform cleaning, routine maintenance, and repair services on medical equipment.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong professional relationships with referral sources and patients.
- On-Call Support: Provide on-call support for troubleshooting and equipment deliveries or swaps.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
- Experience: 0–2 years of professional experience preferred, but we are willing to train and mentor the right candidate.
- Licensing: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are mandatory.
- Screening: Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
- Location: Must reside in the Birmingham, AL area.
