What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pediatric/Adult Physical Therapy position at Rehab Resources?

Join Our Growing Team at Rehab Resources as a Pediatric & Adult Physical Therapist – Outpatient & Community Opportunities!

Are you a passionate Physical Therapist ready to make a meaningful impact across all ages? Rehab Resources is excited to offer a unique outpatient opportunity where you can support pediatric patients in our Brookfield outpatient clinic and adult clients within assisted living and senior communities throughout the Milwaukee area.

This role offers the best of both worlds: you don’t have to choose between pediatric or adult therapy. You’ll work with children achieving developmental milestones in a clinic-based pediatric setting while also helping adults regain strength, mobility, and independence in their homes and community-based adult care settings. It’s a rare opportunity to expand your skills, build relationships across the lifespan, and make a lasting difference in every stage of life.

Why Choose Rehab Resources?

  • Therapist-Owned & Operated: We understand your role and value your expertise.

  • Core Values: Agility, Integrity, and Community drive everything we do.

  • Top Workplace: Recognized four years in a row for our culture and commitment to excellence.

  • Competitive pay and benefits, including:

    • Health insurance options

    • PTO and sick time

    • 401(k) with match

    • Paid state licensure

    • Continuing education support

    • Flexible schedules

Physical Therapist Responsibilities (Pediatric & Adult)

  • Conduct initial and ongoing evaluations for children and adults, assessing strength, mobility, coordination, and functional independence

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve movement, strength, and overall functional outcomes

  • Address developmental, injury-related, or age-related challenges, including balance, walking, running, posture, and flexibility

  • Provide hands-on therapy to enhance gross motor function, reduce injury risk, and improve daily performance

  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, teachers, and healthcare professionals to create comprehensive, patient-centered therapy plans

  • Educate families and caregivers on strategies to support continued progress at home, school, or community settings

  • Participate in team meetings for pediatric patients (B-3 or school-based) and adult clients (multidisciplinary rehab teams)

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of treatments, progress, and outcomes

Who Should Apply

We welcome Physical Therapists who:

  • Are passionate about working with children, adults, or both

  • Want a diverse caseload across outpatient pediatric and adult community settings

  • Desire to grow professionally in a supportive, collaborative environment

If you love pediatric therapy, adult rehab, or both, this is your chance to enjoy variety, build your skill set, and make a lasting impact without having to choose just one population.
