We also provide in-home therapy visits and serve people ages 18 and over on a case-by-case basis.
Role Description
The Physical Therapist Assistant will be responsible for assisting physical therapists in administering treatments and exercises to patients, monitoring patient progress, documenting patient care and treatment plans, and communicating with patients and their families about treatment protocols and expectations.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of physical therapy techniques and procedures
- Ability to assist in the implementation of treatment plans and exercises
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to document patient care and maintain accurate records
- Compassionate and patient-oriented with a focus on improving patient quality of life
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals
- Certification from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
