As we scale toward $25M in revenue through an integrated mix of staging, interior design, furniture sales, and moving services, we are seeking a Director of Operations who thrives in building structure, leading people, and executing with excellence. About the RoleYou will be the integrator to the CEO’s visionary—a trusted partner who brings order to momentum and makes things happen. Your role is to streamline operations, manage people and performance, ensure profitability, and uphold our culture. You will oversee day-to-day execution while keeping the team accountable, efficient, and aligned.
This is a hands-on leadership role with strategic reach and deep tactical execution.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Leadership
- Oversee day-to-day company operations across staging, design, and logistics
- Develop, implement, and optimize systems for scheduling, installs, warehouse flow, inventory, and daily logistics
- Maintain efficiency across all workflows using tools like GEMBS and job tracking systems
- Ensure installs and uninstalls are executed on time, on budget, and with excellence
Financial Oversight
- Own KPIs and ensure profitability on every project
- Oversee invoicing, vendor payments, purchasing, and job costing in collaboration with accounting
- Track and report on margins, labor efficiency, and budget adherence
- Approve and manage POs, payroll, and performance-linked expenses
Team & People Management
- Lead weekly team meetings and regular 1:1s
- Maintain a high-performing, values-aligned team
- Own recruitment, onboarding, training, and offboarding in partnership with HR support
- Address underperformance swiftly and constructively through coaching and corrective conversations
Vendor & Partner Coordination
- Manage third-party vendors across marketing, HR, and field support
- Serve as point of contact for legal and insurance-related matters
- Ensure vendors deliver to standards and within timelines
Strategic Execution
- Translate visionary goals into executable plans and workflows
- Align team efforts with quarterly and annual company targets
- Drive measurable outcomes across departments
- Anticipate and resolve operational bottlenecks proactively
- Are a builder, not a babysitter—you see inefficiencies and fix them fast
- Are energized by creating systems, holding people accountable, and scaling excellence
- Can zoom in to solve a micro-issue and zoom out to drive long-term strategy
- Know how to support a fast-paced, creative CEO with clarity, consistency, and calm

- Have prior experience managing a team, budgets, vendors, and cross-functional operations
