Headquartered in Lebanon, PA, the inventor of recycled rubber flooring manufactures sports and athletic training flooring, multi-purpose surfaces, transportation friction matting, a full line of acoustic underlayments, commercial flooring and complementary products.
Purpose:
We are seeking a skilled Technical Services Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing technical support and guidance to our customers, ensuring the successful installation and maintenance of our sports and commercial flooring and our acoustic underlayment products. This position will also provide technical support on non-flooring products.
Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support via in-person contact, as well as telephone and email communications to customers, architects, and contractors regarding our flooring and acoustics underlayment products. (includes Product, Installation, Site Conditions, Maintenance, etc)
• This position requires a significant amount of problem solving and troubleshooting when issues arise.
• Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and offer appropriate technical solutions.
• Conduct Claim Inspections and Technical Evaluations in the field (Involves travel to jobsites throughout the United States and Canada.
• Assist in the development and delivery of training programs for clients and internal staff.
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including installation guides, maintenance instructions and product specifications.
• Collaborate with the Executive Team, Sales Directors & Manufacturing Director to stay informed and provide feedback and solutions on potential new products, updates, and industry trends.
• Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly, ensuring customer satisfaction and prepare written report to Executive management including key observations/facts, photographs, collection of samples and applicable evidence.
• Act as a liaison between customers and internal departments to streamline communication and problem resolution.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Technical degree in Construction Technology, Architecture, Engineering, or related field or experience.
• Proven experience in technical support or resilient flooring installation within the flooring industry.
• Strong knowledge of flooring materials, installation techniques, and industry standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers and internal teams.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot technical problems independently.
• Proficient in using relevant software and tools for technical documentation and support.
• Willingness to travel for on-site visits as required.
