Full Job Description:
Role Description:
- This is a full-time, on-site role for a Family Law Attorney based in Des Moines, IA.
- The Family Law Attorney will be responsible for overseeing and managing family law cases, providing legal counsel, and representing clients in court.
- Daily tasks will include drafting legal documents, filing motions, and conducting depositions.
- Additionally, the role involves advising clients on legal issues, negotiating settlements, and maintaining detailed case records. Some out of county travel is necessary.
Qualifications:
- Expertise in Law and Family Law
- Proficiency in handling Legal Issues and drafting Motions
- Experience in client relations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently
- Licensed to practice law in Iowa
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Willingness to travel within Iowa
