This position will conduct independent inspections on Manufactured Home installations to include foundations, support systems, anchoring, sewer connection, water connection, gas installation, electrical feeder and perimeter enclosures (skirting). By conducting field inspections, the inspector will protect health, safety and welfare while implementing initiatives aimed at reducing administrative delay in the licensing and regulatory process. This position will cover the San Juan, Cibola, Sandoval, Colfax and McKinley areas.
Minimum Qualifications
If not already certified in a specialty as set out below, each Inspector must pass the examination of a national certifying organization recognized by the Construction Inspection Division within one (1) year of employment; and each Inspector must then remain certified by such certifying organization in at least one (1) of the following specialties:
MHD Inspector requires two (2) years of experience in the field of Manufactured Home Repair, Construction, Servicing, Installation and/or Building, Mechanical or Electrical Trades; OR two (2) years of experience as a Construction Inspector.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $31.61 - $39.00 per hour
