What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pipeline Construction & Equipment Operator position at Regulated Companies?
Safely perform the construction, maintenance and operations activities for all assigned pipeline, compressor, production, gathering and storage facilities. Responds to emergencies, scheduled and unscheduled overtime. Nothing in this job summary restricts management’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of natural gas pipeline related maintenance and construction activities, processes and operations including related DOT and OSHA regulations.
Two years of experience in the operation and transport of back-hoes, motor graders, dozer, sidebooms, cranes, large trucks and other pipeline construction equipment. Associates degree in a technical or mechanical related field will be considered in lieu of experience.
Must possess a strong mechanical aptitude and interpersonal skills. Possess and maintain a valid motor vehicle driver’s license.
Possess or acquire a valid A-1 commercial motor vehicle license appropriate for the position within six months of employment and maintain CDL license.
Possess or acquire valid crane operator’s certification as required for this position.
Must be able to perform all the essential functions required of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Must take all measures necessary to protect networks, devices, programs and data from cyber-attack, damage or unauthorized access.
Must be legally authorized to work in United States, no sponsorships considered.
Subject to pre-employment background and drug testing.
Frequent travel with overnight stays.
Must pass all requirements to become DOT operator qualified in assigned tasks.
Must be able to be certified to wear respirator if required to perform work.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate all equipment needed to perform construction, maintenance, and operations activities.
Perform all other tasks and special projects as assigned.
Journeyman Wage: $40.30 per hour
