What are the responsibilities and job description for the Client Service Associate position at Registered Investment Advisor?
Philadelphia based registered investment advisor is seeking an individual to join our financial department. The individual would join our financial department which is a group of 3-4 individuals who interact with and provide excellent administrative service to high-net worth clients and interact with the firm’s investment advisors on a daily basis. The individual also interacts with the custodian of client assets in the course of administering the requirements and requests of the firm’s clients and advisors.
Detailed specs are as follows:
• Motivated, self-starter with at least 5-10 years of successful experience with reputable companies. Prefer individuals with demonstrated and long-term success at a few employers over 5-10 year periods. Experience in financial sector is desirable.
• Ability and experience in providing high quality service to sometimes demanding clientele is required. Experience dealing with high net worth retail clients is desirable and preferred.
• Accounting degree or substantial experience in accounting processes is not required but is beneficial.
• Some demonstrated experience performing detail oriented and more complex administrative tasks is preferred.
• Ability to work well with others in a small office environment is required.
• Excellent skills in excel, word and other Microsoft products required. Quickbooks experience is a plus.
• We are seeking local candidates only within a reasonable commuting distance of Center City Philadelphia and will not consider candidates who are seeking to relocate. We are not seeking candidates who have functioned substantially as an executive assistant, office coordinator or office manager.
